We're finding homes together for Oregon's waiting children
Wendy's Wonderful Kids, a signature program of the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, is an exciting collaboration with
Boys & Girls Aid to help find caring, adoptive families for Oregon's longest waiting foster children.
Did you know:
- In 2006, on an average daily basis 7,734 children were in the Oregon foster care system. 60.2% of those children were over the age of 6.
- Right now there are hundreds of waiting children in Oregon who hope and dream of being adopted.
- Today in America, children in foster care can wait an average of five years before being adopted; half of these children are over the age of eight.
