A Legacy for Oregon's Children
In 2005, Boys & Girls Aid will celebrate
120 years of caring for Oregon's vulnerable children. Community
support has made it possible for the agency to operate high quality
services and carry on a tradition of innovative leadership.
Bequests and other legacy gifts help to ensure that the Society will
carry on this tradition for generations to come. Over the years, we
have received more than 135 bequests and another 67 individuals have
informed us that they have included the Society in their estate
plans.
What A Difference Bequests and Planned Gifts Make!
There are many ways for you to create a legacy for the future of
Oregon's children. While the most common type of estate gift is a
simple bequest, some arrangements also benefit you by:
- increasing your current income
- lowering your income, gift and estate taxes
- eliminating capital gains taxes
All individuals who include an estate gift for children with
Boys & Girls Aid are eligible for membership in the
Frank E. Beach Legacy Society.
