We are so grateful you are part of our family of supporters. 2024 has been a transformative year for Boys & Girls Aid as we have continued to improve the lives of Oregon’s children and families through our foster care, adoption, permanency, shelter, and housing programs.

For 140 years, Boys & Girls Aid has held true to our founding vision—finding safe, loving families for children—with individualized, compassionate care. Our core belief is that kids need supportive adults to thrive, and that every young person deserves to be connected to a family of their own. Beyond providing immediate care for vulnerable young people, we find permanent, lasting solutions that set them up for a lifetime of stability and success.

Boys & Girls Aid is able to do this vital work because our community consistently supports our mission. Your belief in our purpose ensures that Boys & Girls Aid can continue as a pillar of hope for generations of Oregon’s children and families. From helping children find permanent homes through our foster care and permanency programs, to operating Washington County’s only youth shelter, to providing all-options counseling for individuals facing unexpected pregnancies, our programs have positively impacted countless lives. We have built a legacy of facilitating more than 18,000 adoptions and counting, including some of the state’s first adoptions by same-sex parents.
